We put in a good number of our own members into the Tournament and here are the results:
The best were:
Rowan Wilyman who won the Boys 18&U Elise van Heuvelen who won the Girls 12 &U
Very well done to them both.
The other results, also very pleasing, were:
BOYS 10&U
Toby Hunter playing in his first ever match or tournament, lost in the plate to the eventual winner.
BOYS 12&U
Jacob Hunter also playing in his first tournament reached the quarter finals of the plate losing to the eventual winner..
Elliott Wiseman reached the finals of the plate.
BOYS 14&U
Tom Vartdal reached the quarter finals losing to an eventual finalist.
Richard Everett reached the quarter finals losing to the eventual winner.
Gavin Wilyman reached the semi finals of the plate
Ben Alexander was the Runner-Up in the plate final.
BOYS 16&U
Tom Vartdal reached the semi finals losing to the eventual winner.
Dom Wiseman was the Runner-Up in the plate final.
Adam Williams played in both the main event and also the plate.
GIRLS 16&U
Katie Bateman won the plate final.
Florence Browning lost to Katie in the plate final.
BOYS 18&U DOUBLES
Tom Vartdal and Adam Williams came second.
Ben Alexander and Richard Everett came fourth.
GIRLS 18&U DOUBLES
Katie Bateman and Florence Browning came third.

Team News: Congratulations to the Men's 1st Team who have further progressed the club up the Sussex League system. A first for Seaford and Blatchington LTC sees us competing in Division 2 next season - a great well done to Richard James, Andy Bishop, Dan Stoner and Chris James. (Posted 01/04/08)

Team News: Men's 2nd Team travelled to Hampden Park knowing victory was essential to secure promotion. Sterling work from Matt Bellingham, Yannis Seivas, Will Haycocks & Andy Midgley means the 2nd Team will be witnessing life in a higher division next season. (Posted 19/03/08)

Surfacing, Floodlights & Fencing: Our new floodlit porpous acrylic court is now complete and is now in use.

Team News: Seaford and Blatchington Men's 1st Team recorded a win in the last match of the season, this completes their summer season which has be faultless. With an impressive record of 6 wins from 6 games the team can look forward to life in division 4 next season. (Posted 15/09/07)
Club House News: The club's new facilities were officially opened by Norman Baker on July 14th 2007. The club welcomed their local MP and celebrated in style being entertained by high quality tennis as the club's finals took place. (Posted 15/07/07)
